Maria, Office Manager

Maria fell into dentistry by chance! After 20 years in the mortgage industry, she was laid off when the real estate markets collapsed. One day she met Dr. Luckman (the previous owner of Integrity Dental), who was visiting with her mom, Maria’s neighbor. Coincidently, Dr. Luckman was looking for an office manager and offered to help Maria transition into a career in dentistry. Although apprehensive, Maria took the chance and now loves it because of the great relationships she has with the patients. Undoubtedly, her great experience in the dental field is a direct reflection of the excellent practice she has worked in for the past 11 years. She feels that Dr. Kullberg, the current owner, is an awesome dentist because she is constantly improving her skills and knowledge by attending continuing education courses and she takes the time to invest in the team to grow and improve as well. This results in the best patient care possible.

Maria and her husband were high school sweethearts. He is still the love of her life along with her two daughters and grandbaby. She enjoys doing yoga, swimming, running and walks on the beach.

Melissa, Scheduling Coordinator

Melissa was born and raised in San Diego. Her dental career started in 2013 when she applied to her childhood dental office, as she loved working with kids. There she had the opportunity to work for a general and pediatric dentist. She quickly learned the ropes of the front office. She continued to expand her experience to another pediatric private practice in 2016 and general practice in 2019.

Melissa joined Integrity Dental in March 2023 and has been a dynamic addition to the team. You will find yourself always greeted by her warmth and beautiful smile upon arrival or leaving the office.

Among her many talents, Melissa is bilingual (English and Spanish). She married her high school sweetheart and together they have 3 children - Luz, Benji and Leo. During her free time, she enjoys watching Luz’s soccer games, camping and hanging out at the beach. A rewarding highlight of 2024 was being a surrogate to help a Chinese couple create a family. Melissa is truly a blessing to everyone around her.

Carey, Registered Dental Hygienist

Carey grew up around the dental profession so naturally it was a fit for her to become a dental hygienist. She loves being a dental hygienist and helping people take care of themselves. It is a joy for her to come to work everyday because of the great patients. Away from work, her husband and family is her focus. When she is not watching her sons participate in sporting events she is watching her daughters in musicals. She and her family love to travel as well and can be found jet-setting the globe with passports in hand.

Chantique, Registered Dental Hygienist

Chantique was born and raised on the Northern California coast where the redwoods meet the sea. Early on she knew she wanted to pursue a career in the dental field. She graduated from the College of the Redwoods Dental Assisting Program in 2010. Her enthusiasm for dentistry motivated her to attend Shasta College Dental Hygiene Program. She graduated with Honors in 2015 and was a recipient of the Western Society of Periodontology Award. Chantique moved to San Diego in 2019 in search for more sunshine and the best Cali burrito. She is an exceptional addition to the Integrity Dental Team and is a fanatic of Cocofloss & Dr. Tung’s Smart Floss.

In her free time, Chantique enjoys exploring San Diego with her husband, listening to podcasts, exercising at Orange Theory and taking care of her many house plants.

Mike

Mike is an Ohio native who discovered the beauty of San Diego during a travel nursing opportunity in 2010. In 2006, Mike graduated from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He specializes in Critical Care Nursing and is ACLS and CPR certified. He currently works at Sharp Grossmont Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Mike's other current primary focus has been the recent success of Integrity Dental. In September 2018, Mike was excited about the opportunity to support his wife, Dr. Kullberg, in owning a dental office together. Mike wears many hats in the office, including both managerial and marketing roles. As a nurse, he truly cares about his patients and you will often find him making sure every patient at Integrity Dental has an exceptional experience on their visits.

In Mike's spare time, you'll find him at the beach, riding a bike or cruising on his motorcycle. He enjoys Muay Thai, surfing and traveling the world. Along with Dr. Kullberg, he is overjoyed with both of his boys Leo & Maddox.

Stacie, Dental Assistant

Stacie was born and raised in San Diego and is lucky to have both primary and extended family nearby. She first gained clinical experience in the medical field volunteering as a nurse assistant, where she excelled at patient engagement. Ultimately, her decision to join the dental field was influenced by her father, who recently retired as a practicing dentist in Mexico. Naturally she gravitated to shadowing in his office and found a passion to pursue. In 2020, she attended the Registered Dental Assisting program at San Diego Mesa College, graduating with top honors. While in school, she gained exposure in both general dentistry and specialty offices. Eventually, she found a home at Integrity Dental. Stacie is a hard and ambitious worker who makes listening to her patients a priority. It is her goal to make each patient's visit to the office an experience to remember.

On the weekends, Stacie enjoys visiting her family in Mexico and spending time exploring both San Diego and Tijuana. At home, you can find her experimenting in the kitchen with all types of new dishes, ranging from homemade casseroles to fancy desserts. Yum!
