Erika Kullberg, DMD

Dr. Erika Kullberg is an experienced and compassionate dentist who offers comprehensive, high quality gentle dental care in her state-of-the-art practice. For her, it is all about building a practice with a competent team to best serve the patient. Today, there is an increasing awareness on the direct correlation between oral and systemic health. Dr. Kullberg is passionate about educating her patients, understanding their concerns and utilizing advanced materials and technology to deliver optimal treatment. At Integrity Dental, each patient is treated like family. Dr. Kullberg finds fulfillment in the process of getting to know her patients individually and is compassionate about being their #1 advocate for obtaining a healthy baseline while addressing all needs.

Dr. Kullberg is originally from Gastonia, North Carolina (a suburb of Charlotte), but now calls San Diego her home. She attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. Thereafter, she graduated Magna Cum Laude and obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2010. Additionally, Dr. Kullberg was an honored recipient of the Navy Health Profession Scholarship Program (HPSP) and had the opportunity to serve as a Lieutenant in the US Navy for the following 5 years.

During her Naval career, Dr. Kullberg completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA. She was then stationed overseas for a one year tour in Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory as the Division Officer of the dental clinic. For the next three years, she was assigned as a staff dentist to the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) in San Diego. During that time, Dr. Kullberg was honored with both the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement and Commendation Medals. After her service, she worked in private practice as an associate for Cottonwood Dental Group in Rancho San Diego, CA.

Dr. Kullberg and her team are proud of the warm, friendly environment they have created and of the relationships they have built with multi-generational families in the area. She values the importance of continuing education to stay current on modern dental techniques and is very motivated about community involvement. She served as the San Diego Academy of General Dentistry (SDAGD) President for 2018. Furthermore, she is an active member ofthe San Diego County Dental Society, California Dental Association and American Dental Association. Dentistry has been a rewarding profession all-around where Dr. Kullberg can embrace positive experiences and healthy smiles both in and out of the office. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling with her husband and sons Leo and Maddox, running, yoga and relaxing at the beach.
